INVITATION
The Owner is issuing this RFQ to prequalify general contractors for the construction of a new
elementary school with childcare in East Gwillimbury (the “Project”).
 

Construction of the Project is anticipated to start in spring 2025 and will include a 421-pupil place
elementary school and a 3-classroom childcare centre. The planned GFA is approx 50,000 sq ft.
 

The Owner is inviting Submissions from Proponents who wish to be prequalified to participate in a
subsequent request for proposals process to be issued by the Owner for the Project (the “Project
Tender”) and who are able to clearly demonstrate an exemplary record of successful construction
of education facilities comparable to the Project.

Subject to the terms of this RFQ, only Proponents prequalified through this RFQ will be eligible to
participate in the Project Tender, if it is issued.
