York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) and York Region District School Board (YRDSB) are seeking Proposals for Fire Alarm Service, Repairs, and Inspections. The objective of this Proposal is to establish a partnership with a Vendor(s). This partnership will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs. It is the intent of this specification to outline requirements, terms and conditions regarding inspection, testing and certification of all existing fire alarm and smoke detection systems at all YCDSB and YRDSB locations. The Board(s) intend to award the Contract by area to the highest ranking Proponent for each area. The Board(s) also reserve the right to award a single Responsive and Responsible Proponent to more than one area if it is in the best interest of the Board(s). The Proponent MUST propose pricing on all four (4) areas and indicate in the Owner’s Bidding System on how many areas they are capable of providing the Services for this Contract. The Board(s) will determine which areas are to be awarded to the highest ranked Proponent, based on their ability to service the individual area.. Please note that the Board(s) are the sole decision makers as to whether the Proponent(s) may successfully meet these requirements. All decisions are final. By submitting a Proposal, the Proponent agrees to have accepted the award process. |
